 | Prof.Graziano ChesiUniversity of Hong Kong, China Graziano Chesi is a full professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Hong Kong. He received the Laurea in Information Engineering from the University of Florence and the PhD in Systems Engineering from the University of Bologna. He served as associate editor for various journals, including Automatica, the European Journal of Control, the IEEE Control Systems Letters, the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, the IEEE Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, and Systems and Control Letters. He also served as chair of the Best Student Paper Award Committees of the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control and the IEEE Multi-Conference on Systems and Control. He authored the books "Homogeneous Polynomial Forms for Robustness Analysis of Uncertain Systems" (Springer 2009), "Domain of Attraction: Analysis and Control via SOS Programming" (Springer 2011), and "LMI-Based Robustness Analysis In Uncertain Systems" (Now Publishers 2024). He was elevated to the grade of IEEE Fellow for contributions to control of nonlinear and multi-dimensional systems. |
 | Prof. Youfu LiCity University of Hong Kong, China Professor Youfu Li is a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong and an IEEE Fellow, internationally recognized as an expert in robotics vision and sensing. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1982 and 1986, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. in Robotics from the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, UK, in 1993. From 1993 to 1995, he conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wales (Aberystwyth), before joining City University of Hong Kong in 1995. His research focuses primarily on robot vision, 3D vision, visual tracking, robotic sensing, and sensor-based control. He has published over 400 academic papers, including more than 180 in SCI-indexed journals, and has been repeatedly listed among the world’s top 2% most influential scientists by Stanford University's lifetime impact ranking. He has served as Associate Editor or Guest Editor for top-tier journals such as the IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, and has received numerous honors, including the Best Paper Award from the IEEE Sensors Journal, the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award, the First Prize of the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Award, and the First Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Award. |

Deng Presidential Chair Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Director of Center for Computer Vision in Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Society, Director of CUHK(SZ)-Linklogis Joint Laboratory of CV & AI. David Zhang graduated in Computer Science from Peking University. Currently he is Presidential Chair Professor in Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). He also serves as Visiting Chair Professor in Tsinghua University and HIT, and Adjunct Professor in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Peking University, National University of Defense Technology and the University of Waterloo. He is both Founder and Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Image & Graphics (IJIG) and Springer International Series on Biometrics (KISB) (http://www.springer.com/series/6191); Organizer, the first International Conference on Biometrics Authentication (ICBA); and Associate Editor of more than ten international journals including IEEE Transactions and so on. Over past 40 years, he has been working on pattern recognition, image processing and biometrics, where many research results have been awarded and some created directions, including palmprint recognition, computerized TCM and facial beauty analysis, are famous in the world. So far, he has published over 20 monographs, 500 international journal papers and 60 patents from USA/Japan/China. From 2014 to 2021, he has been continuously listed as a Highly Cited Researchers in Engineering by Clarivate Analytics (formerly known as Thomson Reuters). He is ranked 74 (ranked 7 in China) with D-Index 130 at Top 1,000 Scientists for international Computer Science and Electronics in 2024. Professor Zhang is also an Distinguished Speaker of the IEEE Computer Society, and an IEEE Life Fellow and an IAPR Fellow.  | Prof. Chi Man PanUniversity of Macau, China Prof. Pun received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2002, and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from the University of Macau. He served as the Head of the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Macau from 2014 to 2019, and is currently a Professor with the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Department of Computer Science and in charge of the Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Laboratory at the Faculty of Information Science and Computing. He has served as Principal Investigator for numerous externally funded research Projects, including those supported by FDCT-NSFC and FDCT-MOST, and authored/co-authored more than 300 refereed papers in many top-tier Journals and Conferences, and co-invented several China/US Patents. He is also the recipient of the Macao Science and Technology Award 2014 and the Best Paper Award in the 6th Chinese Conference on Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision (PRCV2023). He is currently serving as the Editorial Board member for the journal of Artificial Intelligence (AIJ, 2024-now). Besides, he has been listed in the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University since 2020.  | Assoc. Prof. Qifeng ChenThe Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, China Dr. Qifeng Chen is an assistant professor in CSE and ECE at HKUST. He received a PhD in computer science from Stanford University in 2017, and a bachelor's degree in computer science and maths from HKUST in 2012. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, optimization, and computer graphics. Four of his papers were selected for full oral presentations in ICCV'15, CVPR'16, ICCV'17, and CVPR'18 (about 3% acceptance rate). In 2011, he won the 2nd place worldwide at the ACM-ICPC World Finals. He earned a gold medal at IOI 2007. |
