In the keynote session, Prof. David Zhang, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, IEEE Life Fellow from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), shared cutting‑edge research trends in biometrics and presented new technologies and typical applications such as palmprint recognition, medical biometrics and aesthetic biometrics. Prof. Graziano Chesi, IEEE Fellow from The University of Hong Kong, proposed a multi‑view L2 triangulation solution based on linear matrix inequalities, which can obtain optimal estimates of scene points under uncertain image projections. Prof. You‑Fu Li, IEEE Fellow from City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan), introduced a series of research achievements on 3D visual perception, vision calibration and motion tracking for robotic engineering applications. Prof. Chi‑Man Pun from the University of Macau addressed the poor generalization of video object segmentation and presented a test‑time training strategy to boost the overall performance of segmentation models without manual annotations. Associate Prof. Qifeng Chen from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology reviewed the technical evolution of controllable video generation and discussed the development direction of interactive world models for embodied intelligence.

Subsequently, oral presentations were held. Researchers from universities and research institutions at home and abroad shared their latest research findings on spiking neuron models, industrial defect detection, intelligent operation and maintenance of photovoltaics, multimodal AIGC, infrared small‑target detection, semiconductor wafer defect recognition, vision‑language models, medical image segmentation, chaotic‑system prediction and other topics. These works spanned multiple interdisciplinary fields such as computer vision, generative AI, robot perception, industrial intelligence and medical imaging. Following the presentation sessions, the award‑giving and closing ceremony took place. Through rigorous evaluation, three major awards — Best Paper, Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster — were selected to recognize outstanding academic achievements and contributing authors. The conference not only fully demonstrated state‑of‑the‑art advances in computer vision and algorithms, but also created valuable opportunities for in‑depth academia‑industry‑research integration.
