Conference Review: CVAA 2025
From August 15 to 17,2025, the 5th International Conference on Computer Vision, Applications and Algorithm( CVAA 2025 ) was successfully held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. This conference was hosted by Ningbo University, hosted by School of Information Science and Engineering of Ningbo University, supported by East China Jiaotong University, School of Computer Science of Hubei University of Technology, Hubei Key Laboratory of Green Intelligent Computing Network, Hubei Engineering Research Center of Digital Intelligence Technology and Application of Manufacturing Industry, Science Network and AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center. Experts and scholars from all over the world gathered together to carry out in-depth and extensive academic exchanges around cutting-edge scientific and technological fields such as computer vision, applications and algorithms, and to build an international platform for open cooperation and common development for academia and industry.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Tuxin Guan, School of Information Science and Engineering, Ningbo University, served as the moderator.
Prof. Feng Shao, Deputy Dean of School of Information Science and Engineering, Ningbo University, delivered the opening speech, expressing sincere thanks and warm welcome to the experts and scholars from afar.
Four well-known professors, Professor Chenguang Yang of Liverpool University, Professor Junhui Zhao of Beijing Jiaotong University, Professor Yisheng An of Chang 'an University and Professor ZhiweiYe of Hubei University of Technology, were invited to make the Keynote Speech of the conference. With their profound academic attainments, the four experts have transformed complex frontier theories into easy-to-understand professional sharing, which not only reflects the theoretical height, but also has practical guiding significance. In the interactive question and answer session, the participating scholars asked questions enthusiastically, and discussed the key technologies, application scenarios and future development directions of computers. The collision of ideas continued to trigger bursts of applause, fully demonstrating the depth and vitality of this academic exchange.

The afternoon oral presentation continued the academic heat of the morning meeting. Eight scholars from China University of Mining and Technology, Ningbo University, Chongqing Medical University, Northwest Polytechnic University and Zhejiang Technology and Business University shared their latest research insights through a combination of online and offline methods. The conference received more than 50 academic posters from different universities and laboratories, and the academic atmosphere was strong.
The successful convening of this conference shows the latest progress and research direction in the field of computer vision, application and algorithm, and presents a high-level academic feast with rich content. The organizing committee of the conference expressed sincere gratitude for the active participation of experts and scholars, and looked forward to broader cooperation in the field of computer in the future !
